Plextor PX-W4012TS Firmware 1.03 Released

Plextor Japan has released a new firmware version for their PX-W4012TS SCSI CD-recorder. This version fixes a problem when formatting a disc to the Mount Rainier format under Windows 2000, using InCD 3.5 and besides that firmware 1.3 adds some changes to the play button of the drive.

The Firmware Forum have obtained a new firmware update for owners of the NEC ND-1100A DVD+R/RW writer. Version 1.A1 should only be used on drives that have the 1.A0 firmware and finally there's a guide here on how to turn the ND-1000A [2x] into the ND-1100A [4x].
