highpoint is as bad with drivers as most other companies are, 2.0.1019 worked great for me, but during the XP install it warned me several times that they werent official driver (i may have been using the beta drivers and the ones on their site had been undated to include WHQL certification).

Frontpage 2002 & FTP

At work on a 98 machine FrontPage 2000 was installed to connect directly to the server. Basically all you had to do was go to File->Open web and then click on the ftp site.

Hi, On my 56k modem, 70% of the time I get 31.2Kbps connections. It is frustrating having to disconnect and reconnect over and over again just to get a 50.6Kbps connection.

3DMark 2003 different version??

I've run the new 3DMark 2003 benchmark on my system, and i get 991.. anyway. When it runs, the first test is the aircraft one, but when i look at screenshots of the benchmark on websites, at the end of the test, then plane lands in a field, and there is a cow there.

Hi. I hope somebody here can help me out. I run microsoft outlook 2002 in the office. I get about 300 mail a day. When I'm out of the office for a week or more, the mail builds up to 2000 or more.

i bought one just for the f*ck of it. . . ATi is worthless. . . plays like crap. . . it doesnt even make sense to buy the card for 2d or dvd playback. . . my gf3 gaqinward card has great 2d adn power dvd plays perfect.

USB 1 & USB 2 - How can you tell?

I have some pci usb cards and the newer, usb2 cards seem to have a red,white, & blue stamping on them so I believe that will tell us about pci cards. I dont know for sure if all of the newer pci cards will have that stamp, but I will find out soon as I ordered a different one yesterday.

Easy CD Creator Buffer Underrun Error

I am running Win 2K Pro and I have Easy CD Creator version 4.02.My burner is 8x max and often times when I try to burn a CD, I get a buffer underrun error. This doesn't happen all the time and I've even tried to use higher quality CD-Rs.

Hello there, When I compare my results of the Sandra CPU/Memory Benchmark with the stored results from Sandra for my Processor (Palomino 2000+) I have to assume that my machine is a real underperformer.

Nero 4 Yamaha cdrw f1

Lo ppl. . . just bought a yamaha cdrw-f1e off line. . . problem is that I bought a OEM version and didnt get the speacial edition of nero that comes with it :cry: Does any1 know were i can get this speacial edition of nero from, as I cant use the disct@2 without it :roll: Any help muchly appreaciated.
