HP DVD Burner question

I just got my hand on an HP dvd burner 200i. When i boot it takes seriously 5 min to get it all the way into windows though, has anyone else have this kind of issue? Or does anyone have any imput.

DVD problems

I have a problem with my DVDrom drive. When I put CD's in everything is fine, however, when I put a dvd in my PC goes very, very laggy, doesnt detect in windows explorer, and doesnt detect in WinDVD.

120gb WD 7200rpm 8mb cache is slow!!!

I just replaced my 80GB 7200rpm Maxtor with a 120GB WD 7200rpm w/ 8mb cache and for some reason it runs a little slower. . . . i dunno why but my maxtor felt more responsive, now everytime i click on something its like it takes a few secs to think about it then does it,.

Audigy 2 + EAX4 443 = weird "problem"

Installed Audigy2 drivers from original CD, right click on Creative Volume Control/Diagnostics (near clock), there everything worked fine (all tests succesfull).

hi, first of all sry for my poor english. . the problem is this. . . mobo: abit nf7s 2.0 amd xp 1700@210x10.5 2x256 ddr433 r9500np@9700 audigy2 zs platinum wd raptor sata i used to have the audigy in the pci slot 4 i cleaned the whole system and when i rebuilt it i accidentally put the au2 in the pci slot 5.

I've just bought a brand new AverMedia DVB-T Digital TV PC Card (PCI). I say brand new, its been out for a while, but I have just bought it from PC World. I can't get the damn thing working.

optical mouse problem

i brought a cheap usb optical mouse and its fine to navigate round windows, but if i move the mouse suddenly it starts to randomly move around the screen not where i want it to go; this is really annoying in games coz i cant change direction quickly.

I currently have a TB Santa Cruz, which is working just fine and have no trouble with it. But I wasw considering upgrading to an Audigy or Audigy 2, but was curious as to opinions on if it is worth it or not.

Im using AMD Athlon 1.2ghz. . . . . . my PC is always at 60 celcius. . . . . . . is that a high temperature. . . . . . . . I guess it is. . . . . . . so what should I do for cooling.

the easier way to fix this problem is when you have more than one user account with administrative powers you just log out of the user with the slow internet tem files and log in as another user then you can delete the users index.

i have an msi 845 AR with onboard cmedia sound. i have a 2.1 setup and i know im not going to make full use of 5/7 speakers. i listen to a lot of music and i find it sounds better from my md player even when i use low grade lp4 mode.

I've got an ASUS A7N8X-VM/400 with Cosair Dual 512x2 DDR3200 CL2, and a Leadtek A280 GF4 TI4200 AGPx8.. . oh, and a AMD Barton 3200+ (FSB400). The CPU is running 3200+ and FSB400, but the Ram is only running 333 MHz.
