Chipset: I875P Canterwood + ICH5 (and ICH5R)

This is the chipset I am currently looking at for my new computer. I was wondering if anyone had information on the difference between ICH5 and ICH5R, because the price difference is around 30 dollars.

Man these are easy problems to solve. . Sue Microsoft for damages. . install Linux on your brand new computer you get to buy cause MS messed yours up. I heard a few people actully did this and one like $1500 in damages.

How to stop A7N8X from checking memory

Hi guys. I have just replaced my Asus A7V333 with A7N8X Deluxe. What bothers me is that eventhough I have set Quick Power On Self Test to enabled but the board continues to check memory on boot up.

hi there everyone. bit of a stupid problem, but one thats bugging me. i have 3 different game pads - gravis gamepad pro, modded xbox controller with psxpad drivers and a playstation2 pad with a usb adaptor and drivers.

Strange problem with a QDI Kudoz 7X

My problem is the following: windows xp freeze (3-5 seconds) followed by a screen blink (similar to vga signal blink when you change monitor's resolution) and then windows xp is unfroze, running stable again.

Anyone know of a wireless intellimouse explorer WITH a cord?

Anyone have any idea if microsoft have made one of these? I only ask because the wireless one is slow as hell and seems kinda laggy to me. I noticed with the good ole logitech mx700 wireless one, logitech made one exactly the same with a cord (saw someone using it at a LAN).

Why WinXP doesn't detect USB devices??

I have problem with WinXP Corp. running on an Abit KD7 mobo. I can use a standard serial mouse and keyboard, but when I restart with USB devices of the aforementioned types, I can see my optical mouse light up just as windows starts up, but then it goes dead.

Computer to TV with 100hz?

Hello, I don't know if this is the exact forum to post this but what the heck. Iv'e recently purchased a new TV for my livingroom, which goes up to 100hz. The main reason for this purchase was to be able to connect my PC to the TV and have an output of 100hz.
