Occupies two slots?

From my experiences as a hobby enthusiast I have learned, that the top PCI slot is a replacement for the AGP slot, thus, any cards placed in the top PCI slot while the AGP slot is occupied, will malfunction and behave wierd.

Not sure about the RAMDAC thing, it does the same for everyone - I've just bought an 8500 myself and it shows the DAC as 350MHZ. The Radeon 8500 definitely has a 400MHz DAC though.

Wow thx a lot, but can you guys tell me about the 40.41 bug, or should i go back to 30.82 Detonator lol because i didn't hear anything about a bug in the new Detonator, or the Pentuim 4, please help :-( stay away from the 40x series for now, tho the 41.

I was wondering if someone can help me out. . . . . . . . . I'm looking to buy a new graphics card online, on alot of the sites it's printed the cards are OEM, If memory serves me correctly, that means a generic box with little or no software other than drivers.

Only if the company has built on-board temp sensors, only Asus and Leadtek do that as far as I know. The only other way would be to put your own temp probe onto the chip if your mainboard came with one.

I got a GF2 GTS 32MB (ASUS 7700). I know that the ASUS Cards have their own BIOS, and wanted to know if I can use NV Bios Editor to edit the Bios ROM and Flash it afterwards without destroying my card ? A mirror for the newest Asus 7700 Bios would be nice.

Best Voodoo 4/5 WinXP drivers?

I currently am using a Voodoo 5 5500, due to the fact that my geforce broke and i'm looking for the best drivers, cause voodoofiles. com has like 50 different kind of the same driver, and my current driver keeps freezing my whole system up.

MSI MX460-VTP tv-out problems

I just buy one MSI MX460 with VIVO, but TV in/out only works with the supplied drivers (Detonators 27.20). Installing any other version only appears one cyan screen in the TV.

I think this can be turned off without going into the registry. Open a folder and go on the Tools ment to folder options. Click on the view tab and scroll down toward the bottom there is a check box for Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items.
