Because it disable AGP in the directx tool box. I called ati let them know about it. hopley be fix next week sometime ;)

Try the Omegadrivers!!! They are doing it for me!!!! (find the link here on Warp2Search;)
I have installed DX9 and the 3.0 cat drivers and am running a Radeon 8500 128 DDR and it didnt disable AGP on mine.
BTW there are TWO sets of Cat 3.0 drivers one set is for the 9000-9700 cards and the other set is for 7000-8500 cards.
