I really like the WMP and 9 is really good for every-day-use ... it is not possible to do everything you want but for normal things its the best playa outa there IMHO
so ... for those version number freak of you like I am here is the most up to date release you can get

I mean I have told this often .... how can Filesharing ever get leagal if its forced to be illegal ?
no one want to use it legal thats the fuckin problem ...
at least gamecopyworld have made this step but demos and such stuff could all be shared via edk ... no more full servers and so on ...
and as I asked ... is there someone to host the file ? ... If I could host it I would but I do not have space

because through edonkey/filesharing you get a file... theres no guarantees that there isnt trojans/viruses or worse in it since nobody is responsible for it.
i hope you understand the reason behind this as we dont want to supply Warp2Search users with viruses and other malicious software.

yes but updates only 1 file in the package this ony above contains updates for ALL files except the playlists they haven't been updated

I am sorry that we are not able to host the file cause of bandwith. Next month i test a new server, when it works out, we will change shortly.

did a binary compare and both are the same
seems that the update has been updated before I got it and before it was posted here

its not that i dont trust Mertsch, i just doesnt trust files that i cant see a source on. When you take into consideration that 60% of all files on various filesharing networks(worst at kazaa) is infected with viruses, you'll want to think one extra time before you put something up for download from filesharing networks.
working with internet security makes you paranoid like that :P

but you don't dl just a file you dl a selfeextracting .exe so you can run 100 or 101 virus scanner and I hope you won't find anything else it would really make me wonder ;)

so a self extracting exe isnt a file eh?
and those are the ones most commonly infected - and not everything gets caught by virus scanners.
having it from a source i can trust makes a big difference. i dont trust edonkey..

"having it from source" you have the same chance getting a virus via edk as via internet since you can't know every source ... its from me ... no one else can ever modify this file or infect it or whatsoever ... its my file ... you can rename it but its always the same since there is a hashID for it which will change as soon as there is one different bit
and if ya trust just a website which does not care about a virus just releasing it most fastest it is more unsecure then getting my file which is proven to be virus free since it is from SP2 sicne I have never had any problem/viruses ... all you have to do is distrust an edk file like MS longhorn final.rar ... thats right but .... :hmm: :hmm:
