WinXP SP2 slower than SP1

I just benched my system few times. Not good After installing SP2 (which is at the moment beta) i lost a bit performance. I used PCmark2002 to bench my system.

After installing SP2 (which is at the moment beta) i lost a bit performance.
I used PCmark2002 to bench my system.
*NOTE: Only Windows without 3rd party drivers was installed.

winXP SP1 : 1551 / 1650 / 491
winXP SP2 : 1526 / 1623 / 459


my system:
AMD 550MHz
768 MB RAM PC133
Maxtor 10GB /7200rpm/2mb cache
GF2 GTS (Asus 7700)
EPOX K7XA Motherboard

thats the reason its BETA!!!


Betas arent always bad....but we'll see when the SP2 Final leakes... :roll:

why would you even install an alpha of sp2? It's a freakin service pack, come on.

I have older pc and prefer software updates rather then buying new hardware. its cheaper, and I am not a player, dont need "big toys" :wink:
