Well I've installed and have been running and have recieved one Blue Screen of Death within about 5 minutes of running.
Also for those that use Windows Messenger Microsoft is locking down EVERYTHING...
I had to open up (UpNp)TCP and (UpNp)UDP under network card settings to allow my connection to be able to use the conversation piece of Windows Messenger... (There is a new Settings button added under your network card settings)
Finally a POP UP STOPPER for IE - Took long enough... Have been using Google Toolbar forever anyway...
I'll say one thing talk about putting a spin on all those MCSE's out there with this service pack - So many new items and settings hidden in so many places...
Don't forget - Messenger is disable (which is a good thing and I mean the Service not Windows Messenger) this is what allows those stupid Pop Ups that most think are browser pop ups but in gray boxes... This is really used for administrators and server messages and the like...
Anyone else been running this??? It's been running perfectly fine though after that first initial MINI DUMP - A name for a blue screen you normally won't see and creates and instant reboot for those that don't know...
I have to say it's a big improvement... One other problem I do have is that I can not use Windows Update it reports an error that of course isn't listed in their troubleshooter on that page...
It has an Express and Custom to choose from on the V5 of Windows Update now...
Well so far guys look forward to it - it will be well worth it... I'll report other findings if I come across any - Feel free to post any other findings or cures for those using it...

I too installed WXPSP2 Beta 2055 but could not install any operating-system updates. Windows Update Version 5 was installed and seemed to work but all five critical updates failed to download. The Event Viewer shows errors from the Software Update Services Client in Categories 6 and 7. The Event Numbers are 147 and 161. Can anyone interpret this for me and let me know how to solve this problem? Thanks.
