Windows xp + Mouse
in windows xp everytime i am installing something from cd my mouse lags why is that is there a fix???? athlon xp 2000+ abit kx7-333 sblive geforce4 ti4200

if your system freezes momentarily on inserting the CD, its coz ur CD drive is heavy on CPU usage.
LG, AOpen drives fall in this category ( but consequently provide better error correction then most)
Creative hardly puts any load on the CPU ( just like the rest of their products) but provides less err correction
ASUS works like creative but still avoids CPU cycles
Acer does neither
However if u face mouse lag problems while reading data from ur drive,
u certainly have a problem. Try to install logitech mouseware. Maybe that'll help.
