Hi everybody
I just installed the Enterprise Edition and after a hours of tweaking and tuning decided to go ahead and try some gaming stuff
So i installed the latest official Detonators 43.45, enabled all hardware acceleration stuff and so, BUT ...
I tried to run Counter Strike in OpenGL mode and hell ... a was glad to see the Win Serv 2003 BSOD for the first time
Everything else that is not OpenGL dependent was running perfect ...
So folks here comes the question - Is there a OpenGL support for this Windows and if yes, how can i enable, activate, tweak it?
Thanks in advance

Well Galin .. like Audio and Luna themes service .... Microsoft have decided to disable "DirectDraw" and "Direct3D Acc." by default.. so to get DirectX apps up and running; you will have to enable it.
Go to start-> Run-> type "dxdiag" .then in the "DirectX Diagnostic Tool " Console ... click on "Display" there Enable DirectDraw and Direct3D Acc.
There you go.. .your games should be running now .

Official Answer: Windows Server 2003 does not support game applications. Many of the functions needed to play games are either disabled or not present at all. Enabling this functionality is an unsupported configuration. Simply said: don't play games on Windows Server 2003. Period.
Unofficial Answer: Many games work well with Windows Server 2003, but require special steps be taken to ensure adequate gameplay. You must enable graphics acceleration, enable DirectX, and enable the Windows Audio service. Instructions for enabling these services can be found elsewhere in the Unofficial FAQ, or will be added shortly.

OpenGL does not require Dx to be installed.
whatever check common games like quake3 first,
maybe your game isnt fully supported on win2k3
or a bum tweak is crashing your apps
install 30.82 maybe your actual dets are buggy
good luck
