Windows Explorer Startup Path HELP!

Wondering how i can edit the path of the windows explorer to automatically come up to my C: path instead of my documents everytime. . . . Thanks Mike.

how do you start the explorer ?
one possibiliy is WinKey + E which leads you directly to "my computer"

No i know how to start what i mean was when it comes up it has my documents highlighted but i want it to come up with C: instead of my docs

yes but what mertsch said is that if you open it by using the winkey+E shortcut it will automatically go to 'my comp'

yes i tried that and it workd but i also want to edit my shortcut to come up to either my computer or c: when i click the short cut instead of my docs....

i know theres a way i had it edited before i reformatted....

if you goto C:WINDOWS
you will notice 2 explorer things

one is the exe one without extension and a yellow icon ... this one will do what you want ... so remove your existing shortcut and replace it with the new one
