Box Contains:-
1 x SATA Contoller Card (Silcom Image 3112 Rev.2 Chip) with Master & Secondary Channels
1 x SATA 7pin hard drive data cable.
1 x CD for drivers.
this one is the right for u ...
the 2nd one is just and adapter connecting a PATA disk to SATA ... but that will cause more trouble then you want ... also it just plain stupid buying such adapter instead of a real SATA disk ...
edit ... but you may ask first if there is an SATA power connector included ... also you can give ya HDD no power ... when you need to buy a SATA power connector ... look out for a Y cable .. this will clean thngs up when you maybe get a second disk
Thx Merstch. I was actually going to get the adaptor :knife: heh.
Here's the link to the HD I ordered. Can't seem to find it saying anything about a power cable :hmm: maybe theres something I missed?

HDD never comes with cable ... it may be within the controller package ... since it seems to contain a data cable it realy would make me wonder if not a power cable ... but ... you can never be 100% sure
and yes the cable will du ... also its not the cheapest one if not to say quite expensive :D
