I think this better posted in the forum instead of the home page. Its is problem concerning one person without any proof. Picture of the prob would be nice too.

The EVGA drivers will work fine, in fact i doubt the ones coming from Nvidia are gonna be any different or better than those. WHQL means squat in the long run.. and thats prob whats delaying the release from nvidia.
i can´t remember when a prog/game was released on the release date
As I said I benched these in AquaMark only because every driver from NVIDIA I upload my results to their site (AquaMark that is), and for those FREAKS out there the NEW 56.56 drop in almost every single Bench...
all said, i think
How would you know that the new drivers don't perform well if the officials haven't been released yet...
what makes you think the offical nvidia drivers will be any faster?
and the EVGA are official... for evga, so that makes em a viable alternative to the yet to be released nvidia drivers. they are WHQL certified, the bugs plaguing the previously leaked 56.56's have been fixed from what i've seen (i didnt test ut2k4 as i cant be bothered), application profiles being detected was fixed too.
And iirc it was always recomended in the past (by nvidia and mfg's) that you use the card manufacturers drivers over the reference nvidia drivers.
i jumped a good bit in 3dmark2001se, and i got about 6k more points in aquamark over previous drivers of the 5x releases.
at least these can be downloaded from a reputable source too. i'm not sayin guru3d isnt reputable.. far from it. but they do have all the releases that came from sources unknown, and that never did appeal to me to download those.
cheers

Bam
so any idea when nvidia will have their sh*t together so I can resurrect my old Visiontek 4600 with some new drivers???
out of the hundreds of drivers out there, you cant find anything that works well?
if your looking for "new life" and cant find them in current/exhisting drivers, you wont find them in any future release really.
it might be time to upgrade your 4600 if thats the case:(
agreed to Beefy....
i own a MSI ti 4800se and the card rocked with 53.03 and now i use those evga 56.56 and the frames aren´t higher or lower
the only new is the menu/option of the 56.56

OR here's better yet - no one cares. The drivers will be out when done, and its not like they will seriously change lots.
