What do you think of W2S
This is a discussion about What do you think of W2S in the Warp2search Hang Out category; I've got a visiontek Xstasy 6964, and am kind of afraid to flash this bios due to the Brooktree chip being labeled as a BT868 in my driver properties. The drivers above say they are for a card with the BT869 chip.

and as it a new year how about starting it off with bit more love in world? If you don't like our Double posts that's fine, but what gets me is all the other Sh*t that goes with it! if were such a crap site why vist us @ all.
I had alot of people saying they missed the ATi drivers that's why they have been reported! Just because you was here when they were originally posted, that know one else is entitle to them don't think so and as to the Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines Trailer I left it as that as I had to go out that post was going to be Films for 2003! What do you think !

W2S is my home page, i was lost last week when it was down ! I like the fact that the main site is generally unbiased.

I too shine away from the forum, but mostly because all the spare time I am visiting the front page of W2S and doing other techie stuff. Once in a while I do pop in though. In the future I will try to frequent it more, as W2S is bound to get bigger and bigger and bigger who knows the forums might become the most active on the net.
Since I've spotted this thread I wanted to give my opinion on W2S.net
I've been visiting W2S.net for a little over a year now. I absolutely love this site, I visit it 2-3 times a day. What makes W2S great is:
1) Great staff that is enthusiastic about fetching the finest tech news from the web. Even if the news sometimes dosen't come out as true it dosen't matter, I find the W2S homepage very enjoyable to read.
2) The amount of users commenting on news feeds on the homepage. These great enthusiasts always have something to say, whether it be the latest Nvidia driver scandal to the latest HL2 info. Albeit I mostly lurk the comments section, I read almost all of them, and here and there I manage to give some input as well.
3) The quality and quantity of news feeds is superb. I can honestly say W2S.net offers a lot of original "we covered it first" news feeds every week. I also like the many file mirrors most of the news feeds offer. You guys go beyond the call of duty to hunt down the mirrors for us. Thanks.
4) There is something great about the site design that I can't quite put my finger on. I hope you guys keep the current site deign for some time to come. It is a refreshing twist from the VirtuaNews databasing system that many sites use. VirtuaNews is cool, but I prefer W2S's style.
I hope you guys continue to be one of the most popular European & American techie news sites on the web. I gotta say kudos to NewsFactory for working so hard. I am not sure it is the same person posting the news, DriverHeaven has their own NewsFactory and if you are the same person, I gotta say you are doing one helluva job.
I want to add a few other things too. I remember in the past W2S had some nasty ActiveX popups that installed some unpleasant spyware pieces. I'm glad you guys got rid of it. (It was displaying pornographic material for me). At the current time W2S has ads and a few occasional popups. Let me just say this site is so good... I don't mind the popups, nope.
A month or so ago I became accustomed of copying many of W2S's news feeds on the site I was posting news on, 3dNewz.com W2S.net was always the main site I came to get the news off of, since the superb work you guys do here. (I've only copied a portion of the news bit and always left a link back to W2S.net) While I don't directly post news for 3dNewz.com anymore, I gotta say it was an honor ripping news from you guys for a while.
I agree about the double news posts that appear on W2S sometimes. People are making a too big of a deal out of them. Sure sometimes they appear, but it's great for those newcomers and others alike that might of not spotted that particular item the first time around. It's no biggie really, if it bothers you all you have to do is scroll up or down and you won't notice the news bit anymore.
I love the attention W2S got last month or so about the leaked HL2 E3 Demo. Hehe, that was sweet, if I remember correctly that news feed got like 5000 views alone!!!1

...i daily visit Warp2Seach' its always got new info and i enjoy visiting.
Warp2search is the best site I ever had in my life and it is also my HOME page.
W2S is my favorite web site for news, i've been visitting more then twice at day ever since i discovered two years ago. :D
