vcore settings
This is a discussion about vcore settings in the General Hardware category; im gettin constant lock ups im using win 2000 pro sp2 and the compatibilty updates helped stabilze it a bit, i over clocked my cpu it was a 1533 amd xp 1800+ my fsb is 140 not i been reading about pci divders, im wondering i got the Kt333 its not the aru, i gota akura fan, its 468 one very powerfull, but im wonerin ...

im gettin constant lock ups im using win 2000 pro sp2 and the compatibilty updates helped stabilze it a bit, i over clocked my cpu it was a 1533 amd xp 1800+ my fsb is 140 not i been reading about pci divders, im wondering i got the Kt333 its not the aru, i gota akura fan, its 468 one very powerfull, but im wonerintg bout safe vcore settings? thier setr to auto i know i should increaas the vcore since i increased the fsb, but i not sure how far safe is, any help would be great, i have a 350 wat enermax PSU, also im wondering about my ddr 333 setting it down to cas 2 would it make it faster? then cas 2.5 i have over clocked the sys but it hangs at anything above 140 fsb, iv seen the KT333 ARU go as high as 170 do i have to unlock my proccesser to do this? i have the Normal KT333 form Msi, and the latest via 4in1s and via pci latency fixes, :roll:

thanx ill give these settings a try im gettin a ramsink a active thermal one formy ddr, also im lining it with artic silver 3 thermal compound, all i can set is my dram cas 2 2.5 i tryed setting my vcore i can use 1.7.50 i think as its loweest anything higher and i gota reset the cmos, i hae no clue how to do anythign with the i/os bein afraid ill fry something,
