using video in to connect playstation 2

This is a discussion about using video in to connect playstation 2 in the General Hardware category; hi i have a laptop with a video in port. i am told that this port is disabled because i dont have a tv tuner card, which was optional for my laptop (AJP 8880E) i have a playstation 2 and ive heard that its possible to connect it to a laptop using video in.

hi

i have a playstation 2 and ive heard that its possible to connect it to a laptop using video in.

how can i enable this port and how do i connect it all up?

hmmmmm a PS ain't any different from other video sources
you do need a Vi graphics card or something like a TV tuner ... but AJP does not give any more information on your product ... watch your manual for
VI oder ViVo
else you will have no luck connecting em

brought a hercles usb2 tv tuner -''smart tv usb2''

its great except i cant get audio. im connecting the audio ports to the tv tuner and the audio cable to the mic of the laptop from the tv tuner. i followed the manual. it wont work

help
