My specs are at the bottom and as far as I know, my BIOS is American Megatrends. I don't know the version but some forums I goto, a conversation about how in some guys MOBO's manual it said 1 thing and in the BIOS it said another and he needed updating.
Now I always like to keep up-to-date but me BIOS is WELLLL behind. I always see BIOS updates for others manufacturers on WZS.
I heard some things that you can flash your BIOS, which don't sound good.
Well my main question here is:
-Where can I get an updated BIOS for American Megatrends on my comp.
-What precautions should I take before installing a new updated BIOS.

A quick google and hey presto! You will probably read it again before you attempt to flash but you should use default settings to flash the bios. That is not overclocked. I think you should be sorted with that link and be able to ask subsequent questions (if any) there.
