i used the bundled software overclocker to get to 2330MHZ from my 2GHZ intel p4. however i am worried that the other buses esp agp may be o/cing; i dont want to o/c my gfx card as its not the bottleneck

also does anyone have any idea what kind of clock i can look at

You are only oc the cpu, it will not affect the GPU.

Edit:
GPU clock spped for gaming..
CPU spped for multimedia and gaming.

why don't u google for:

motherboard name + "review" find one .... read one and get it but as far as I know intel can only be OCed by FSB and if the PCI would be connected to FSB this won't be possible in the way people do now ... .... e.g. 5GHz project with 330 MHz FSB

i used the official msi fuzzy logic 4

when i did the auto o/c and it reset there was no video bios or BIOS screen.

i reset the system 2x before i could get it to work

i have the same probs if i adjust the Vcore or the Memory voltage

y is this happening to me????? is it the gfx card (hope not coz its 3 week old lol)

or does this happen if the agp bus fequencies r wrong and the gfx card doesnt like it?

rig:

p4 2ghz
msi 845 AR
512 DDR pc2100
fx5900

always do this from BIOS .... software may function well but BIOS is the basic and if it does not work nothing works .... so if u just raise voltage be 0.25 or 0.5 comp freezes ?

yeh no matter what voltage; i raised it to 1.550 from 1.5V and ddr to 2.6 from 2.5V

even if i increase the fsb by 1mhz it dies

i dont know what to do coz i need to o/c the cpu, nothing else.

i cant find anywhere that the board clock locks or not.

hmmm you have a jumper free mother board or jumper/jumperfree board ....
u may go take manual and check your jumpersetting on the board .... for jumperfreenmode there is a setting check if its 100% correct ... maybe its set to 1.5V and changing it ti 1.5 causes a conflict
and newest BIOS update ?

You have to increase the vcore if the com don't like to boot, clear the cmos setting using the jumper. that simply means you don't have enough juice for oc that higher. if you have already increase the vcore and it didn't help that means your Ram can't handle the speed.

as I got him right ? ..... it happens also if you just raise the VCore right ?!
You know whata jumper is ... just 2 metal stifts connected with a jumper which is just a little bit of metal in plastic ... now search ur motherboard for blocks of many jumpers ... 3 or 4 next to each other and many rows .... also look for spaceholder where they could be ... can you locate any ... and look your manual if u got none .... goto MSI HP
