My dad bought a DVD-ROM for his computer, and I want to replace the CD-ROM in his case with it.

Unfortunately there are no screws only some stupid ass clamps that I can't find out how to loosen. Anyone have some insight?

the clamps have to be attached SOMEHOW. Use a screwdriver, Dremel tool,. plasma-cutter, hammer and chisel, explosives, etc. to remove them. Make sure you have a way of solidly affixing the new drive. Good Luck...
