Hi All, Does anyone know how to keep the 'Status Bar' displayed in Internet Explorer and Windows Explorer? Thx :)

U Havent mention ur operating System. It doesnt matters as the following steps should work on 9X/ME/2000/XP. BTW i am using Xp home.

Open windows Explorer ;

First step:- First select view menu and check on status. (this way the status bar appears.)

Second step:- Go to "Tools" menu and select "folder options". As the Folder Options window opens select "View" Tab in there, and click on "Apply to All Folders". This way the setting/s stay permanant.

U can do a lot of things in "Folder Options" Window like "dont show hidden files..", and lots more.
