This is a discussion about spyware **** in the General Software category; i just installed this and when i open the mainboard info module it crtashes and causes winxp home to restart my pc. . . . . the only way i could open that module was to uncheck the enable mainboard info on the module.

Downloaded and ran the new ref file for ad aware today, and it found some crapy UCmore dir in my program files, which apparantly sends them info on the sites ive been too.
Well I looked in the install txt file that was there and apparantly the installation was started five hours ago, and aborted after copying Iucmore.dll, Ucmie.dll, I_see_more.htm and creating the Install.log file in the dir (i dont know how I managed that since I never actualy installed it myself anyway) which was nice.

Isn't that the plugin that comes with MyIE2? If I was to use MyIE2 I would only use the out of the box version, no plugins for me.
the old spyware edition of eDonkey2000 also had UCmore as an option
Have you tried Spybot Search&Destroy ?
Should find more than Ad-Aware and gives some Infos about the Spyware it finds

tried it yesterday and it found even more stuff so i was quite impressed, also seems an awfull lot faster.
