Sound Blaster Pin Layout

This is a discussion about Sound Blaster Pin Layout in the General Hardware category; I have a sound blaster audigy I want to hook up to the mic and headphones on my front panel. But, not sure what pins on the card to hook them up to. Want to go to the same place the Creative front panel hooks up.

Run an Audio cable from the outside of the case plugging in to the back of the card. Then hook them up to the front panels. I know with my 5.1, thats the only way I can do it. I know there are pins for volume, but from what I know, not for sound.

as far as I know the ribbon cable connections on the audigy is a digital connection, like that of a IDE cable, the connection can't be used to connect individual pins for specific uses.

If it was that easy the Live Drive wouldn't have all the circuitry and optical connectinos.
