CAS 2 supported in newer BIOSes, but anyway S2G is a piece of crap, get NF7-S instead.
OP
ok, puhhh
but why is the "old?" better?
the reason for this board, it´ll be used in my linux box, with Thunderbird 1400 and OCZ,
so, nothing for speed/overclocking, but i want a faster system than now (k7s5a :-( ),
or should i go for MSI k7n2 Delta-L?

S2G have no CPU multiplier control in bios, also many people on Abit forums complain about weird issues with this board. NF7-S is far more stable, I used to own one myself.
OP
like i said, nothing with overclocking
but i can buy that board really cheap and in the same shop the cheap Ram also
so, ok, i think, it´s much better than my k7s5a and now i´m buying it,
thanks for info with new bios that supports Cas2
Thankx :D

OP
ok, i´m using this nice board since 3 days
huh, what a performance jump with this and the new RAM :-)
i couldn´t play Mohaa on that machine before, it was terrible...
but now...
i can play it really good ...nice
but i wonder more...
before, i had on the 12V line something about 12,5V
and with the new Board....
11.9V - 12,2 V
again....nice
and that bios...amazing
i think, the new hardware was a great deal :-)

:D abit simply rocks
I have an NF7-S personally and that is a solid board too :D
OP
someone using this board and GLAN?
because, if i plug it to a GLAN switch with Cat6 or Cat5 the action LED is blinking like hell....even in BIOS!!
but if i plug it to 100 Switch/Router etc everything works fine
i'm using the latest bios
i'm very confused
edit:
should be fixed now...
disabled LAN in bios and enabled it again...now it works :knife:
