else all those 9500 --> 9700 in the past wouldn't have worked ... thats the F***in trick about it to have the right card / layout

I meant that my 9500 has the same 256-able interface as the 9700. Anyway, anybody know if it's possible?

ok, i will try to mod my Fiat Panda into a Ferarri
i´m going to swap the Fiat logo with the Ferarri-Horse.....
then i have a modded Fiat and it runs great! *lol*

btw....thats a stupid comparison *lol*
but those moddings are a little bit like a cracked game or something, when u want to install the new e.g. Cat 4.2 than u have to wait for a new modded driver that opens the other 4 pipes.
maybe it´s good to mod those cards, u get a performance of a 9800pro, while u buy a "simple" 9800se or 9700.

and in most cases you get a little Bonus ... artifacts and that sucks ... I play games with low FPS more likely then with artifacts ...
..... ATi has nothing to give away ... there is a reason why they deaktivate the pipeline or whatsoever ... 95% of all modders have artifact although they are different and do not apper in any game
