So what GeforceFX card are you up to?

Its been awhile Geforce FX cards have been released in markets ; and like it always happens .. the prices of Geforce FX series cards are coming down from the hot hyped-up ones. for e.g:- look here eVGA.com they have announced the e-GeForce FX 5200 Ultra Gamers' Special card for US$ 129 (Coupon/Promotion Code Required) from regular US$199. A DirectX9 card for that price ... i will take it .

So now the prices have came from new released-hot seller- must have hyped US $ 250- US $ 399 to few month old released US $ 100- US $ 225 . I think its the best time to get a card for all segment buyers.

What do you think ? what card are you planning on?..... post your views

I went for the pixelview fx5600 for less than £100 + vat. It performs very well compared to 4200s and plays enter the matrix just fine. It's dx9 and a bargain, the vivo functionality is a bonus and tv-out and in work fine with what I've done so far.

ethical isnt only "hurting people".. improper marketing techniques go under that category too...

I think I'm going to wait to see how the post FX 5900 cards do (~ NV40)...if it's not enough for the $$$ I'll probably buy a 5900 Ultra.

NV30 was not enough for me, neither r350. I will go for NV35 and probably update again after christmas. Life is hard when you honestly attempt to run the latest games in 1600x1200.

Best Regards

even though i have an nv card i will have to go ati next, both my bro and his friend has ati cards and they work great, not to say that the new nv cards suck but from experiences i like ati better both in a quality and performance card and i like the ati prices better

maybe in the near future ill just get both for both my rigs then they can duke it out from there
