SLK 800

This is a discussion about SLK 800 in the General Hardware category; What do you think is better, installing a heatsink on the SLK 800 in blowing position or in sucking position? I'm using an 8 cm Papst fan and I wonder which way provides a better air flow / cooling.

Changed Mobo and CPU. Xp died

I got an idea. Flip your fan an check the temps.

great. why didn't i come along with that myself? maybe i wanna hear from other slk users what their experiences are. health monitoring is rather unreliable (for my board at least), so I dunno if i can trust the stated temps.

Personally I like it when they suck, but theirs nothign wrong witha good blow now and thehn

quite so. but IMO it still ain't a bad thing to know what other people think about it, if you don't bother. EOT

PS: I'm not sure what Nikemarines advice is actually, but it was a good laugh anyway. I knew twas inevitable somebody wold post a comment like that ;)
