SBLive drivers 5.12.01.0383 makes mixer give errors!

This is a discussion about SBLive drivers 5.12.01.0383 makes mixer give errors! in the General Hardware category; Hey guys I just tried out those new SBLive drivers and they caused My AudioHQ and Creative Mixer to yield errors and cease functioning. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?.

You are doing nothing wrong ... this simply does not work ... you got to use the PAX drivers ... they do work .. modified 3xx do not work with the software together !

Silly me for thinking it'd work. I just assumed where they posted the update on the front page here.
Anyway you have a quick link to those PAX drivers by any chance? Are they that much better? Do they use any less CPU power than the current drivers?

.... yeah because these drivers do work ... but you got to do without the software ... the PAX driver is the ONLY driver that works with software and and is FULLY stable!

use the final WDM driver!
beta is real beta there ... wait for final release before using next version ... when I had a SBLive... I use Pax II and III they worked great ...

oh as I see the new IV is incompatible to EAX console ... so u can use the PAX III (1.Play/Entertainment Edition:) !!!!! the other is instable and will give u bluescreen from time to time ...

just wait for stable and fully working 383 release before upgrade ... the III sounds great

the installation is one click and removal, too
