Sandra memory test. Score 2 high?
I build a new system last night. Amd 64 3800+ with Asus A8V motherboard and Twinx 2x512mb pc3200XL DDR400.I scored 6044mb/s and 6003mb/s on the memory test without any overclocking.

I scored 6044mb/s and 6003mb/s on the memory test without any overclocking.
Running @ 2-2-2-5. All the reviews i saw on these memory sticks result in bout 5000mb/s. How come mine is so much higher?

the amd64 could be part of it. memory controller in cpu makes it fly.

3800+ has built-in memory controller - best part of it is it is DUAL channel (the same memory controller AMD 64 FX53 has). And the same memory put in that 3800+ (and FX53) will work faster than in ANY Pentium 4 dual channel.
FYI first AMD 64's have just single channel memory controller.
Be happy - you have monstrously fast computer (/me jealous :evil: )
