I need to enable the Remote Access Connection Manager Service and Remote Access Connection Auto Manager Service for the internet connection wizard in WinXP Pro to let me set up a dial-up connection. After I reinstalled windows these services won´t start, either saying the dependency group failed to start or that access is denied. I have admin rights and every service even vaguely resembling network services is started. My modem is recognized in the device manager. Any ideas on how to coax these essential services to start?

Check dependencies and try to figure out what 'base' service doesn't start.
