any two identical drives can be run with raid.

you can also run 2 HDDs with different size but then the size of the bigger one will be limited to the smaller one .... putting two HDDs with different speed into RAID is a bad idea .... putting two 8MB cache HDDs into raid is a good idea

I use raid to bust bug's chops.
Those stupid bugs dont know what hits them until BAM! RAID BABY
