Problems in driver installing!

the other photo I've seen shows tiny BGA ram chips on it. I would have thought Nvidia would use it for all their models. .

I have modded audigy 2 zs CD driver pack on my computer and when i try to run the setup it gives an error that there is no audigy 2 device installed on your computer.
Is there somekind of fix for this?

Check the divice manager see if the card is listed there as unknown or know device name. If there is nothing either known or not known device that means you have not install the card correctly. Open up your case and re install it again.

hopes that help.

My card is installed correctly, but i havent modded any thing in the driver pack, i just downloaded modded Audigy 2 ZS CD drivers 400mb on the net.
I used to make this error thing going away with this ctcomb file thing but i cant remember where to get it.
These ZS drivers installed to my friends Audigy gamer with no error.

Disable any environment sounds you have on in the drivers.
That fixed my loss of sound.

but you don't need any modded driver .... any ZS thing will work A2, too since its unified driver .... just like nV
search for the other topic there you can download the full unmodded Audigy 2 ZS CD
then deinstall any existing software/driver ... install from this CD ... then manually update to 441 driver
and do the thing nike said .... the driver all work perfect since first Audigy driver .... so basically you shouldn't have any problem ... must be configuration problem

...... look into ya task manager ... there are things like CTHelper and such BS ... get a tool like JV16 PT and remove all those creative autoruns .... or do in manually with regedit .... search for "runOnce" he will find two entries .... check them and the folder above "run" there are the startup entries ... delete them all (all creative) then restart .... delete the folder .... and go freshly ..

If you want to delete the old driver just get rid of the file name something like E##.dll Urrh i just can't remember the name. but check in the direct x under the sound tab you sould get the file name, use search and delete it if cannot go to safe mode and perform that. Restard the machine and the syatem will fail to locate the file and ask for inserting installation disc.

Caution:
Before doing this please back up your estiantial file and create a restore point.

good luck.
