Hey guys,
today I have a serious problem with my pioneer DVD-106.
Anytime when I access the DVD with the explorer and try to copy files to my harddisk, my cpu goes up to 100 % all the time. And also tho copying is very slow.
I have allready installed the latest firmware (1.22) and the latest via 4 in 1 driver.
I am using an Athlon 1,4 Ghz with a Asus AV7 Mainboard with KT-133 chipset.
Anyone an idea?

I would suggest removing the drive(s) from your system configuration in device manager and let windows (im assuming) reinstall them after reboot. If that doesn't correct the problem you might want to go a step further and remove the IDE controller drivers form the the device manager and reboot. Usualy this will correct CD-ROM related problems provided its not a hardware issue.
