The U.S. Attorney General announced yesterday that police have broken up an online child ring that involved the sexual molestation of very young children.
Police arrested 27 people in the U.S., Canada, Australia and Britain, following a months-long investigation into an online chat room called "Kiddypics & Kiddyvids." Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales remarked that the behaviour found in the chat room consisted of "the worst imaginable forms of child pornography." Victims molested by adults were as young as 18 months old, and at times the terrible acts were even offered on-demand through streaming video.
