p4g8x and dual channel ram

This is a discussion about p4g8x and dual channel ram in the General Hardware category; I am thinking about a ram upgrade. I have a gig of dual channel ddr 266 @ 302 (152mhz fsb) now, so there is plenty of bandwidth. And couldnt I even put a canterwood on here at that point? this board overclocks to 400mhz fsb. oughta do 250 easy. then I'd need ddr500, huh? Opinions please. I invite them.

I'm on the same granitebay motherboard (pro version --- no real diff.) and I have corsair ddr400 ram. There is no difference between 400 and 333, so going to 500 wont do you any good. I'm on an engineering sampled p4 (which means it is unlocked) so the performance gain is very little.
