Hey guys. My first post here is gonna be a barrage of questions. Any help is appreciated.

Relevant System Specs
MSI KT333 Ultra with FSB at 133 (BIOS at 5.7)
AMD 2200+
Koolace Water Cooled Case (With attatchments for processor and graphics card)
512 megs of 333 Samsung RAM

1. Should I overclock? Not just my chip, (I don't think I wanna "unlock" it) but my FSB or things like that.

2. How? (In Layman's terms please. I'm a semi-geek.)

3. I have the new Fuzzy Logic version. I do NOT have a proc fan since it's water-cooled, but it still says a speed. What do I do about it? Will it effect anything?

4. My proc-based thermal probe says my temp is usually 35-36 Celcius when gaming. Fuzzy Logic says my temp is 46 Celcius when gaming. Why?

5. Should I use the auto-clock feature on Fuzzy Logic? Good idea?

6. What are my chances on screwing stuff up?

7. Should I get a fan for my northbridge? It didn't ship with one, but...

1. Sure, if you want to. It'd be a shame to let that Koolance case go to waste, too.

2. Got a car battery? Hehe, kidding. (psst, if you can't overclock, you're a geek-trainee!) Open up your BIOS, open Softmenu III Setup, and adjust the FSB, crank it up tiny amounts and continue to test stability by running a variety of CPU-intensive benchmarks, such as 3Dmark03 or FastPi. Once you've hit the ceiling with FSB adjustments, as in, one more Mhz up and it becomes an unstable mess, you can begin notching up your VCORE. Be careful with the voltages though, given that you new to the overclocking biz I wouldn't suggest you exceed 1.85v. Also, if you've got the option for PCI locking, take it, it allows for much more room for OC'ing. You can overclock your video card too with a program like, say, Rivatuner.

3. Nah. Don't worry about it.

4. What exactly do you mean by Fuzzy Logic? I mean, I know what the term 'fuzzy logic' means, but it sounds like you are referring to a piece of hardware. I'm going to go out on a limb and assume you are talking about some sort of PC health monitor, where it be an external LCD or a piece of software. Perhaps the probe for 'Fuzzy Logic' is in a different place then your proc-based probe. Could also be a poorly calibrated probe.

5. Not sure what the auto-clock feature is.

6. Depends on how greedy you are. But if you do screw it up so bad that the computer refuses to POST (refuses to boot up), whip open your mobo manual and look for directions on how to discharge the CMOS to clear out all the settings in the BIOS. It's pretty easy. The chances of making permanent damage to your computer are fairly thin, though, as long as you don't play around with the voltages too much.

7. It can't hurt, given the price of a dinky little fan for the northbridge would be very minimal. I'm sure you could use your Koolance rig to cool it, too.

Fuzzy Logic is a program that ships with some MSI motherboards..I have it.

Don't use it you're better off using BIOS.
