I was, untill installing my Asus A7N8X mobo, using a Silicon Image Medley RAID PCI card. After fitting the Mobo, in over a week i lost about 40 gigs of data due to corruption problems on all IDE devices that were connected to the RAID controller. I hear so much about problems with the onboard SATA RAID controller with the deluxe model (wich is also silicon image) and i cant help feeling that this is such a similair problem to my own that they must be related in some way. Firstly i would like to use this thread so any 1 experiancing similar problems to my own to post here, or if any one here knows of a fix or any suggestions to this problem, this would be appreciated.

Thnx for the reply but it is not the onboard RAID i am having trouble with, it is with a Third Party PCI Card, not SATA either.
