NF7 problem....
hey i just RMA'd my abit NF-7, and when i turn it on, AbitEQ (motherboard hardware monitor) beeps constantly. i figured out that my -12v is -13.2.is this a really bad problem? i haven't noticed any difference yet, and its running great, but i didn't know if long term this was bad.

I would say that it isn't cause for concern.

I've never really understood how you could have -12V. Isn't -12V the same as +24V? I just don't know...
I use WebTemp to graph my temps and voltages and OMG is it scary to see the voltages fluctuate due to demand from the CPU and video card. But ultimately harmless : my comp runs 24/7/365 and it doesn't mind (but my -12 is -12.19 :wink: )

hehe ok yah i was thinking it was my PSU, i'm wondering if its too small. its a 350w antec, but i have a mobile barton 2600 oc'ed to 2300 mhz right now until i get good ram then it'll be 2.6, a 9700 pro, two HD's, a DVD, 3 cathodes, 6 fans, and HD cooler. so i'm thinking i may neeed to go with 400w hehe. thanks for the info though.
sicne nearly any PSU only got 1A behind the -12V line or even less
its very very often that the -12V line is weak ... especially if ya connect much -12V devices like HDD fans an such stuff sucking at -12V
I got -13, too but no problem for now
and if it would be tht important PSU makers would stabalise the line much more ... if you +12V line would jump to +13 then you are in trouble but this way

ok thanks guys, yah that's probly it. if it comes down to it i'll just unplug some fans or something.
