SiS Sandra states I have ;
System Chipset
Model : ASUSTeK Computer Inc 82845/E/MP/MZ Brookdale CPU to I/O Bridge
Bus(es) : AGP PCI IMB USB FireWire/1394 SMBus/i2c
Front Side Bus Speed : 4x 100MHz (400MHz data rate)
Max FSB Speed / Max Memory Speed : 4x 100MHz / 2x 133MHz
In Order Queue Depth : 12 req(s)
What I want to do is upgrade my P4 1.6GHz chip and need to know if the FSB speed is 100MHz or 400MHz?
Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

100MHz....then should I upgrade my Mobo first? I looked at the Intel site and most P4's they advertised were 400 and 500 MHz.

Thanks! This helped a lot! One more question for you.....how do I find out which socket my Mobo and P4 chip, I have now, is?
a p4 1.6 is 400
i know that it is either a 423 pin or a 478 pin find it out in your manual
