Anyone seen what they have in store for us?
Doom III obviously, but I looked a little further.
This one seems to work on the doom engine (I saw screenies of a man that looked oddly like the men in Doom 3)

farcry looks ok, but from what i have seen and read about gameplay, its sounds as repetive as Serious Sam

btw the first SS was much better then the 2nd one ... you can get SS1 nearly for free ... just look around ... really worth the money

The game I was waiting for is already released and most of them have played it. The game is GTA Vice City. Do you guys love playing that game????? It's my favourite.
I hate GTA 3 / 3.5 .... its ugly unrealistic and annoying ...
I don't understand why they did not take Mafia and create a more up to day world ... then it would be perfect ... :roll:

Because Vice City isn't there for realism its there for fun.
I know and I don't mean real realism ... I hate game which want to be too real ... but the car physics of GTA are too "special" ...

As I said GTA is meant to be fun. Not a real world kinetic physics representation.
Aren't they making another release of Grand Theft Auto. Unfortunately I couldn't remember the name of it.

I'v heard that the next gta is 5 times the size of vice city and includes knockoff cities like LA, San Fransico and Las Vegas. Like always Rockstar knows how to make a fun game. What didn'y you like about vice city?

Far Cry is a blast. In my opinion its the best first person shooter of the year. The graphics and lighting effects are simply amazing. The graphics are awfully demanding though. The multiplayer is fun as well if you play objective style maps. The multiplayer reminds me of Team fortress for half life but with better rendering. The single player isnt repetitive at all, actually its full of surprises you get to beat the level anyway you can. The maps are huge as well.
