OMG
now ati got a toy to make people
really ???
I mean come on .....
42MB + .net framework
MY god ppl. like farbrausch code more stuff in 64kb then this controlpanel has ...
some freaky bloated menus eat so much space and then do not even work alone ???
even more you just can set options you are able to set with the normal control panel
where is the advantage ??? where are some ultracool options ... something new ... something usefull for this BS control panel ???
and whooooo some new ultra cool system informations ...
WOW since now on I have an Intel CPU working in my nForce 2 system ... now thats nice THX ati for saving me so much money
and whoooo
the nForce chipset is one of the most used outa there and the driver is not able to detect at least the driver version ?!?!
and hey AMD ups I mean INTEL cheated on me ... they said "IT's MMX inside" but now finally Ati does show me that its not true ... THX ati ...
all in all a MUST GET piece of software ...
I am 100% sure you can no longer life without this great pice of software ...
THATS DRIVER QUALITY
NOW nVidia YOU ARE FINISHED !!!
PS: Every word said here is ment 100% serious :hmm: :knife: :knife: :knife: :knife: :knife: :knife:

Yeah it is quite poor, massize download for, like u said, bloated useless menus.
Thought they may have added something new to it, but no.
Ideal for noobs but everyone else wants to stick with what they got already.
LOL u noticed the intel CPu aswell, im using the nf2 chipset and was quite supprised they couldnt even get the name displayed.
People will say its in its early stages but if you read the website they said its been an idea for 2 years or so..
Back to the good old device properties for me :)If it aint broke.....

I noticed that the install of the CCC adds a new event log. I guess they expect problems with it :-)
I prefer ATI Tray Tools for my tweaking and game profiles. Minimal bloat.
But alas.... CCC will become de facto in the near future like it or not.

CCC sucks
too much ram.. too many services (ati and framework) and its heavy as hell.. but remember! its just the first version.. i belive they will make it better so dont worry

so, after some hours of "testing"....
i DEINSTALLED it
removed the .net and the cc and now i´m "fine" with ATI :-)

And come one the most useful feature ever !!!
YES I DO NEED CCC in any context menu ... since there are no autostarts you must have a chance to start it the right way ... right ?
YES ATi please make my whole desktop a BIG button named
START YOUR ATi CRAP RIGHT HERE

hahahahahahahah
I used it for a few days, I wanted to see if AF/AA/etc did a real difference, and now I managed to set my graphics to what I like, without too much lag, in the space of 5 minutes, instead of going back and forth. I just delete the CCC straight after :P
yeah ... I have .NET installed, too by defautl ...
but come one ... why the hell does a GPU driver software needs .NET ?
and as it seems ati does want to completely go to CCC ...
such an important thing should not be based upon other things ...
you know ... take aTuner e.g.
this tool is 500kB in size can set nearly any option of the driver and does not need .NET ...
now tell my why ATi is not able to produce a similar result else then putting some regtweaks and a stupid preview into 20 MB plus the need of .NET
all needed is 500kB tech stuff ... 1MB for a cool skin and a 64kB demo from .fr

inspired by Mertsch from W2S
LMAO thats great
hope Ati doesn't see this ... they are the first company to find out how to change font size for a single entrie in context menu
hehe maybe even with a cool directX 9 animation ???
YES GIVE IT SOME MORE 10MB
lol too late they already seen it
here:
kids can be so cruel these days ;-(
seriouslly, we will provide an option to remove that in the future. Sorry, didnt realize it was that bothersome.
LOL
i dont think so... the readme is just 1mb!
dont forget the help files (in every language) and descriptions
under .NET framework.. and the switch.. erm.. 5-10 mb probably
