Nero multisession after SP1

This is a discussion about Nero multisession after SP1 in the General Hardware category; Have you tried upgrading to the latest NERO? I think I remember seeing something about multisession fixes in a later version. . . 5.5.8.2 is pretty old as far as nero releases go.

Also make sure SP1 hasn't set the secondary IDE back to PIO mode, it did that on mine.

Goto Control Panel > system > hardware > device manage > and check the secondary IDE channel you really need DMA mode on modern burners.

What is this hacked firmware? have you checked HP's site for an official updated version? I know the maker of my CDRW (Cyberdrive) provide a windows based upgrade program, which makes it easy to do in XP.

I tried upgrading Nero and checking if DMA is on (it was). Well, now it takes a couple of seconds more to fail, but I don't know if it's a good thing or not.
That Vcool thing down there means that Vcool is running? And I thought I had removed it...
