March 1 has arrived (Where are Drivers)
How does the MSI K7T266 Pro2/-RU (MS-6380 v2.0) Special-BIOS 3.4s bios differ from the regular one?.

Well today is March 1 and where are those 56.56 drivers that fix the problem with UT 2004 and that are WHQL...
I've been using the other ones for over two weeks now and they mess up in more than just UT 2004...
Lock On they scrambled my screen up into flashing large triangles once and flashing textures all over the screen - they make the water in Battlefield 1942 blink occassionally and THEY ARE NOT WHQL...
Funniest thing is I NEVER saw any problems in the UT 2004 Demo with these drivers - of course I didn't benchmark them either...
I did do an AquaMark benchmark on the drivers as I do with all the released drivers and found that all the scores had gone DOWN with everything off... ODD.
Come on NVIDIA - I WANT MY 56.56 WHQL today and FIXED...

I just wanted to see what I could stir up that's all...
It obviously worked - are the eVGA actually the WHQL ones? Also do they call all of your cards eVGA cards and add eVGA to the Properties???
As far as I knew all of the 56.56 drivers online where not the FIXED 56.56 drivers that NVIDIA is working on or WHQL...
The ones I have are from edimensional and they were to be WHQL also but for my 5800 Ultra I get the old THESE ARE NOT WHQL when installing them...

What were the UT2004 problems?
Supposedly there was some bug with the DEMO...
From what I've read it had to do with Benchmarking the program - it showed VERY, VERY Poor Results but as far as graphically or actually using them during the game I noticed no problems what so ever...

Stupid benchmark freaks. :)
 I agree fully... I play Lock On Modern Air Combat and you should read their forums - Everyone is so concerned about FPS - It's like turn the darn thing off and just play the game...
Yes the Frames per second drop but the game is very playable - I've never noticed an unplayable situation...
As I said I benched these in AquaMark only because every driver from NVIDIA I upload my results to their site (AquaMark that is), and for those FREAKS out there the NEW 56.56 drop in almost every single Bench...
Now I play games daily - usually about 20-30 hours a week and have yet to see bad frame rates or too many troubles the ones I mentioned earlier are just a few I've noticed...

I've noticed a lot of unplayable situations and I had to give up on lockon
My 1500+ can't handle it well :(

Also with the new 56.56 drivers - during dxdiag - and testing Direct 3D - this is the test that has the spinning cube.
It test DX 7, 8, 9 - you should see my screen when testing this - the square spins so fast for all 3 tests it makes it look like a 100 sided star with letters on it that is how fast the square spins
Mind you now I have a NVIDIA 5800 Ultra - also no one answered me about the ones I had not being WHQL and if the eVGA were or not but I found that answer and have since installed them and have the exact same effects with those as I did with the ones from edimensional that were NOT WHQL :D

The 5800 ultra should scream past the DX cube. My radeon 9700 Pro does :D
The EVGA drivers will work fine, in fact i doubt the ones coming from Nvidia are gonna be any different or better than those. WHQL means squat in the long run.. and thats prob whats delaying the release from nvidia.
IIRC, i got no WHQL warning when installing the EVGA's so i'm sure their what you want.
and true to their (EVGA) fixlist (from what i've tested) their fix list is spot on.

that cube spins that fast because there is only 1 cube rendered ... thats nothing new... just goto prefs and activate Vsync and its back to normal ..
