Macrovision crap.

OK, I realize nVidia has blown up chances for a lot of people to view DVDs. There has to be a fix for this somewhere, besides going back to ancient drivers. Looking at some comments to the post on the front page, i checked out DVDIdle but it requires registration- and i don't plan to pay for nVidia's mistake.

Looking at some comments to the post on the front page, i checked out DVDIdle but it requires registration- and i don't plan to pay for nVidia's mistake.

Anybody have any ideas on how to re-enable DVD playing?

maybe finding the file that controls tvout and relpacing it from an older driver?
