I am very happy with my Fujitsu P19-2
(benq got almost the same monitor BenQ FP91E - which my sister is about to get very soon)
but this is because contrast is the most important for me ... with those 8/13ms I don't have much of a ghost effect ... you are able to see it if you look carefully and its the right place
but I never found it to be excessive
so I can recommend the one above and I would recommend going for high contrast and low candela ones (250ccd is way more bright then the average CRT is)

Hey, this is what I found when I looked for some information about the monitors:
Dell UltraSharp 1905FP: http://reviews.zdnet.co.uk/hardware/monito...39184111,00.htm
Samsung 930BF 19" LCD Monitor: http://www.pcmarket.com.au/3668_Samsung_93...anel_Displa.php
ViewSonic VX922 19" LCD Monitor: http://peripherals.about.com/od/displaysmo...wsonicvx922.htm
Xerox XA719i 19" LCD Display: http://www.theglowlounge.com/catalog/produ...products_id/547
LG Flatron L1980Q LCD monitor: http://websnoopy.com/monitors/2005/07/29/l...ron-l1980q.html
Now, I got a DELL E773s 17-inch Color CRT Monitor when I was buying my new computer. At that time I never felt like getting an LCD monitor but now I have to spend money in buying an LCD and stop using this one which is a waste of money. So I would suggest you to go for like really good brands such include LG, Samsung and DELL and also look for these suff as well:
-Contrast
-Maximum resolution
-reducing the amount of space.
-Amount of Brightness etc.
tks..................
