Lagged Gaming because of drivers

This is a discussion about Lagged Gaming because of drivers in the General Graphics Card Talk category; PC: I am using Windows XP Professional (5.1 - 2600) Running with memory 200/512MB (39.06%) I am on a DSL connection. My computer is running a 1-AMD , 1466MHz, 256KB My computer hasnt been restarted in 18 Hours 5 Minutes.

-- My record uptime is 1 Day 8 Hours 19 Minutes 10 Seconds
-- GeForce2 GTS

When i am playing my game Counter-Strike my mouse and keyboard are lagging (ps/2 adaprter) and when i try to move left it wont reigter, and when i try to shoot it either doesnt do it when i press it or it wont stop when i let go.

I think it might be my vpg driver,
Help Plz!

What version of the Video driver are you using? If it's the windows default one, then it's definately the problem.
Also some older drivers have problems in XP and counterstrike causing mouse lag. Try setting your desktop to 16bit and playing the game. If that dosn't work pick up a newer driver.

for the beta's.. I've been using 28.90 since it came out without any problems.

if that dosn't work try updating the via 4in1's from www.viaarena.com if you're using a Via based mainboard.
