Hello,

let the creativity flow. or just post ur simple minimilistic desktop. all u gotta do is follow whats said below.

1) try to keep it around 1024*768 res.
2) mention things used in modding.
3) post links to stuff as much as possible.

and people who like the stuff posted and want to know where to get it . PM the desktop screenshot poster.

You know the routine, start posting your desktop mod screenshot. or mod it for W2S and show it.

So this is my current one.

VS :- Smooth stripes by KoL.
Iconpackager:- D3A icons.
Winamp skin :- ImPulse.
Dock bar :- Object Dock (with various pngs i have collected so far).
Samurize bottom monitor:- Kyro.ini made by me with MBM (go to w2s download section.)
Transparent CMD windows:- Console (from sourceforge.net)

Wallpaper for u guys. (my friend Derek emailed me when i liked his desktop.)

nothing fantastic.... just the new royal theme for xp. and the center is a 'b-17 flying fortress' otherwise known as sally-b star of memphis belle.

there are so many free and pay services .... but you may try

or any other you like ... when its uploaded copy the link
hit the IMG button paste link hit the button again

TIPS FOR POSTING SCREENSHOTS :-

1) You can take screenshot in windows by pressing PRINTSCREEN button on keyboard and then open PAINT-BRUSH or any other Image editing tool, now on a blank space in the editor PASTE the screenshot by pressing CONTROL+V. OR get a professinal software like SNAGIT for taking screenshot.

Most linux distros have a screen capture tool, use it for taking screenshot.

2) Always save the SCREENSHOT as JPG,PNG or GIF and not as BMP. BMP generate large size images.

3) If you do not own a place to upload Screenshots , Make account at www.Photobucket.com (free) or at www.imageshack.us (free), upload it there and Link it here with code something like this in your post reply here.
For Example :-

  [img=http://img1.photobucket.com/albums/0903/kyroW2S/screenshots/desktop/98SE.png]

and the picture will look like the below image in this thread/forum.
