IT"S VERY LOUD...SO LOUD that i think that it will EXPLODE
and some times it becomes even louder
Is there right
I have never had such a loud processor fan
Anyone who has a p4 3.0C please tell me is these NATURAL because so much LOUDNESS does not sound normal
I am now using again my old P4 2.00GHZ (it is much more less LOUDY of course)
IS my P4 3.00C fan a problematic or something...
Is any FANS for a p4 3.00c exists Example from ZALMAN as i hear...
Note"
When i first installed the P4 3.00C a message appeared in my Bios Saying
OVERCLOCK failed ????? :hmm:
I had never overclocked
I set my Bios settings to DEFAULT and it fixed but still the P4 3.00c FAN NOISE is TERRIBLE

Activated Q-Fan in bios ? ... i had the same problem until i activated Q-Fan
I had thought of that and tried it already and still is very Loud as i noticed
I have an ASUS P4p800 Deluxe (Bios Version 1004 Original)
What Mobo are you using???
if i install a new bios do you think that these will fix???
Buy a new heat sink and fan man.
I am now again using the P4 3.00C
And here is what i got
It Stop Responding and when i Reboot
A MESSAGE APPEARED saying CPU OVERCLOCKED FAILED while i was in BIOS POSTS i get into the Bios and i load Bios Default again
I HAVE NEVER OVERCLOCKED BY THE WAY
I am now with my MIDI case OPEN and i am using (THe sound is UGLY and sometimes it goes even worse)
Here is my Monitor Thermal specs from bios with open MIDI CASE
CPU TEMP 39.5C103 F
MB TEMP 40C
CPU FAN SPEED was set maxed somewhere to 5000 Rpm
CHASSIS FAN SPEED 1835 RP
WHEN i tried to close my Midi case the Cpu fan speed reached somewhere to 5800 rpm and was sound like going to explode
I am using a ASUS p4p800 Deluxe as i said before
Is the mobo or the Cpu Fan the problem

It sounds like a cooling problem, the fan is noisy because it's running at full emergency speed and it is possible the fan is defective, or that your paste is on wrong, or you don't have enough air flow in the case to remove the heat.
start by removing the HSF and examining it carefully for damaged blades, etc. then carefully reapply a quality paste (clean it carefully first) and install it. run it with the case open for awhile. Better now?
now close the case and see what happens

Temp seems fine to me for stock cooling.
However if the fan is making weird noises make sure nothing is on the way as it spins.
I would take the CPU out and check the fan. Then Make sure to add some good thermal paste if you happen to have some or just add what you got. Make sure the heatsink is properly installed and then give it a go...
Should not be unstable if you are not overclocking.
However make sure your CPU voltage is 1.52-1.55v. You can check this under "system health" in the bios.
It should not be more if you aren't overclocking. For some reason my mob runs my CPU at 1.48v when it should be 1.525v and that cause unstability for me. So I have to set my CPU at 1.57v in the bios in order to give me 1.54v
