Hey guys, my mouse pointer keeps on sticking randomly within windows. the pointer stays where it is but I can still move the mouse (if you get what I mean).
For example the actually pointer culd be stuck up in the top right but if I move the mouse down to the left and click I can open the start menu and see the invisible pointer move over the start menu options.

I have this exact same problem too, and it has only started happening in about the last week, since I reformatted my hard disk and re-installed everything from scratch.
I am using 45.23 drivers from the NVidia website, and Intellimouse software version 4.12, but before I reformatted I was using these same versions and didn't have the problem.
The only difference with my system is that before I didn't bother with Windows Update at all, but this time the first thing I did was to visit and download every available update. Perhaps an update is the cause?
Steve.

OP
I did exactly the same! I reformatted last week and then reinstalled everything and all of the windows updates.
I thought that it could perhaps be the detonator 51.75 beta drivers but I downgraded to the 45.24 WHQL ones and seem to still have the same problem.
