i need something more than just a singleplayer crappo thing
and the graphics... i dunno... it doesnt look real (real world isnt shiny and bumpmapped all over) looks more like plastic to me :P

Has to be Half life 2, my monitor brightness doesn't go up high enough to play gloom, sorry doom.

I think Doom III is better cause half-life is newer than doom 1 or 2. that makes Doom can't compare with HL. . I am confident that doom III will have something new and interesting, that's what make them can't release the runtime demo or something, to prevent interesting weapons and others become not interesting. :D

I just don't get your judgement here. Thats like saying Simcity sequels were crap because the original was old.

HL --> HL2 = 3D to better 3D
doom1/2 --> D3 = ugly 2D to newest 3D technology ...

i want Doom3. anyone want my voucher for HL2 when it comes out? Guess youll have to install Steam and then DL it (sux). Why if i just shelled out 500$ of GFX hardware, cant they just mail me a disk?

Doom 3 is going to rock :hail: , I mean HL2... yeah it may be good, but personally I just dont care when I got Doom 3 waving itself in front of me. And I am not biased just becuase I worked with ID. ...well maybe I am a bit ...lol.
Great atmosphere, spine chilling soundtrack, sound effects that split ribs, killer lighting, enemies that are so real you swear that you just shot Bill form next door, and it was the first game that almost left a wet patch where I was sitting. I am afraid for people's hearts when they play this game.
As for Half Life 2, like I said, when Doom 3 is standing in front of me it's more like..... Half Arse who now?

There are some things money can't buy... so just create them on your damn computer for f**ks sake!
